The Eureka Legion is actively seeking new members. Unfortunately, the membership level has decreased over the past few years due to the loss of so many WWII veterans. It’s time that younger veterans take some initiative and start helping their fellow veterans and the community around them. Without new members like you, American Legion Posts around the world will be less relevant and eventually cease to exist. Please don’t let that happen to our local Legion.

As current members search for new members the common response we get is, “I’m too busy to join the Legion”. Like any organization there is a commitment of time. We don’t expect every member to be involved with every event. At the Eureka Legion, we ask that you pick at least one event each year to support. You could help with a monthly breakfast, the annual member’s dinner or fish fry, one of the three parades each year, Veteran’s Day Memorials, or just attend a monthly meeting. Get involved and show that you are proud to be a Veteran and a member of Post 466.
